We are currently working on a 65 unit residential scheme in Weymouth. The site is particularly challenging with a steep slope across the site requiring a significant number of retaining structures together with careful consideration of foundation levels and sequence of work to allow a cut and fill exercise across parts of the site. Split level units offer a further interesting challenge.
At the same time we have delivered designs for a first floor extension and alterations in Sonning Common, an infill extension in Wallingford, beam designs in Basingstoke and Tadley. We have also been appointed on extension and alteration projects in Marlborough and Aldermaston.
We also provided some advice to clients on a property in Goring where it appears that Building Control certification wasn't obtained for previous extensions and we have looked at potential new projects in Gosport, Frimley, Stratfield Turgis, Guildford and Camberley.

We have been appointed to provide structural engineering services on a project in South Oxfordshire comprising an infill extension and internal alterations.
In recent weeks we have completed designs on a number of projects including a Gabion Retaining Wall in Camberley, a first floor extension in Guildford, introduction of an additional storey over an existing bungalow in Lodsworth, a rear extension and extensive internal alterations in Reading and new beams to support existing roof construction in Basingstoke, amongst others. We also undertook an interesting project to strengthen the gable wall of a terraced house in Reading that was found to be only half brick construction.
We continue to develop our relationships with architects and builders on these domestic projects, seeking to ensure that the structural solutions achieved support and enable the initial architectural vision.

15th October 2021 We are pleased to have completed Phase 5 of an estate regeneration project in Swindon. Comprising 110 No. residential units in total the successful delivery of the project concludes 4 and a half years of hard work. The scheme comprised bungalows and houses in a mixture of timber framed and loadbearing masonry construction. There were also a number of plots that split old "wimpey" style pre-cast concrete houses and replaced with new adjoining with the old.
