We understand that planning building works or discovering potential defects in your home can be a time of stress and worry. For most of us, our homes are the largest financial investment we will make and we always aim to tailor our professional expertise and services with this in mind.

Defects (or hopefully non-structural issues!) can arise at any time prior to or many years after purchasing a property. Our team have a number of years of experience of carrying out inspections and preparing reports. Many times we find that the issues are not structurally significant but, when we do find that this is not the case, our reports will make clear recommendations for further investigation and/or repairs and we are always happy to discuss any issues with you once our report has been issued.

For new build, extension or conversion projects, we are often able to provide initial feasibility advice, along with our fee proposal and we are always seeking the same outcome as our many clients – a successfully completed project. We remain committed to adopting a common sense approach to all of our designs – ensuring that you receive a structural design that is clear, easily understood, cost effective (in terms of fees and building works), buildable and most importantly, achieves the end result that was envisioned at the start of the project. We work on a regular basis with a number of small and large architectural practices and believe that this demonstrates our expertise, communication and effectiveness.

Each commission is handled by an experienced Chartered Engineer with over 30 years of experience (including several years project managing subsidence claims) and we provide Professional Indemnity Insurance for each of our projects.
